We’re still catching our breath here at Timbermark after a very busy and exciting week at the LIGNA exhibition in Hannover.
And what a week it was! We had new products to show and new faces on the stand, all of which meant we were busier than ever.
New from Sojet was the MoTix8000, a thermal inkjet printer with up to 8 printheads, each printing 12.5mm high. We set it up as a demo with 5 printheads to show how it can print a stack of tile battens.
The ground-breaking upgrade from Yeacode was their recirculating printhead, which we set up with a UV curing light to show how this piezo printer can print high resolution with a throw distance of up to 30mm and doesn’t need priming. This new feature has enabled us to develop a pallet stack marking application, suitable for printing stacks of freshly painted pallets with heat treatment stamps or logos.
We also had the latest handheld printers from Bentsai. Replacing the B30 and B35 models is the B6210, which prints 25mm high and is ideal for printing barcodes, QR codes, ISPM15 stamps, dates, batch numbers or logos.
We were joined on the stand this year by our new European sales agents, Anton van den Eijnden and Klaus Goecke, who are operating in Benelux and German-speaking countries respectively.
