{"id":4110,"date":"2024-12-16T14:44:52","date_gmt":"2024-12-16T14:44:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timbermark.co.uk\/?p=3506"},"modified":"2026-07-03T15:05:33","modified_gmt":"2026-07-03T14:05:33","slug":"why-choose-inkjet-for-marking-pallets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timbermark.be\/nl\/why-choose-inkjet-for-marking-pallets\/","title":{"rendered":"Waarom inkjet kiezen voor het markeren van pallets?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pallets voor internationale verzending moeten gemarkeerd worden met een hittebehandelingsstempel om aan te tonen dat ze voldoen aan de ISPM15-regelgeving. Traditionele methoden voor het markeren van pallets zijn heat branding en stenciling met inkt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inkjetprinten is echter een alternatieve methode voor palletmarkering, die een snelle, regelmatige markering van hoge kwaliteit oplevert zonder de nadelen van brandgevaar of hoge arbeidskosten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bij heatbranding wordt het merkteken in het hout gebrand met behulp van een gegraveerde messing plaat die tot meer dan 500 graden Celsius wordt verhit. De belangrijkste nadelen van deze methode zijn het brandrisico, het veiligheidsrisico voor de operators en het energieverbruik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sjabloneren met inkt is een handige manier om stapels pallets na de productie met de hand te markeren. De printers werken op omgevingstemperatuur en in plaats van hete platen te hanteren om een boodschap te wijzigen, kan een operator het printontwerp wijzigen met \u00e9\u00e9n druk op de knop. Dit betekent een sneller markeerproces: de operator hoeft geen heet metaal te hanteren, niet te wachten tot de merkplaat is opgewarmd of de productielijn tot 10 seconden per pallet te stoppen terwijl deze wordt gemerkt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inkjetprinters verbruiken ook minder energie dan hun tegenhangers voor brandmerken. Ervan uitgaande dat de brander 6 x 0,75kW verwarmingselementen en perslucht gebruikt om 6 luchtcilinders aan te drijven, zal een inkjetprinter ongeveer een tiende van de elektriciteit gebruiken om een markering met hoge resolutie te produceren. De printer hoeft slechts twee controllers van stroom te voorzien en de LED's branden alleen wanneer het palletblok ervoor langs loopt; ongeveer 7,5% van de tijd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De flexibiliteit van de programmering is ook een groot voordeel van inkjet ten opzichte van stencilen. Berichten kunnen snel en eenvoudig worden gewijzigd om logo's, datums, machineleesbare codes en productspecificatiegegevens op te nemen. Er wordt geen tijd of geld besteed aan het maken van nieuwe stencils, maar met het gebruiksvriendelijke touchscreen kunnen berichten met een paar tikken worden aangemaakt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Handheld inkjetprinters combineren het gemak van stencilen met de hand met de hoge resolutie en de onderhoudsvriendelijkheid van thermische inkjetprinters. Ook hier geprogrammeerd via een touchscreen en beschikbaar voor gebruik met inkten op waterbasis of solventbasis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In het algemeen wordt de kwaliteit van de markering die door een inkjetprinter wordt gemaakt vaak gezien als een van de grootste voordelen ten opzichte van branding of stencilling.
