A large export order had been rejected by their customer as the information printed on the product was illegible. They had been using a large character printer to add traceability information to their OSB panels, but with the production line operating at speeds of 120m\/minute, the LCP was not able to produce a consistently legible mark.<\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">That\u2019s where we were able to help. In the first instance we recommended using a handheld inkjet to recover the rejected panels. Using a Sojet D1 \u2018Dragon\u2019 handjet, Swiss Krono was able to save approximately 3000sqm of stock by re-applying the mark. The \u2018Dragon\u2019 is low cost, low maintenance and uses Hewlett Packard print technology to provide a high quality, high resolution print.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"max-width: 2500px;\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/timbermark.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/SK-Dragon-print.jpg\" alt=\"Using the Sojet D1 \u2018Dragon\u2019 handjet to print high res logo and information on OSB\"><\/noscript><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/timbermark.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/SK-Dragon-print.jpg\" alt=\"Using the Sojet D1 \u2018Dragon\u2019 handjet to print high res logo and information on OSB\" width=\"460\" height=\"613\" data-image=\"http:\/\/timbermark.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/SK-Dragon-print.jpg\" data-image-dimensions=\"2500x3333\" data-image-focal-point=\"0.5,0.5\" data-load=\"false\" data-image-id=\"5fc0ec293c6ccf69f37f494a\" data-type=\"image\"><\/p>\n<p>Einsatz des Sojet D1 'Dragon' Handstrahls zum Drucken von hochaufl\u00f6senden Logos und Informationen auf OSB<\/p>\n<p>Swiss Krono were impressed by the print quality and user-friendly interface offered by the Sojet product, so we then began to discuss options for installing a printer onto the production line in Hungary to mark all panels as they are produced.<\/p>\n<p>We visited the Hungary site in March and then set about designing a printer system for the main OSB production line.
